Petro independently proved a rather nontrivial fact that was estabilshed in 1964 by O. Gross using game theory about the existence of the so-called "rendezvous number" defined for all connected compact metric spaces.
The purpose of the meeting is, in particular, to attract future scholars - now students, and in the future - students and postgraduates, to scientific activity.
Students of mathematical schools, lyceums, students, post-graduate students, scientists, as well as teachers of higher educational institutions, who take care of the scientific education of schoolchildren, are invited to the meeting of the Kiev Mathematical Colloquium, all who are ready to join and promote the growth of talented young people and their involvement in scientific work in the field of mathematics, as well as all those who are interested in mathematics.
